Step 1
We put strips of salt pork, butter, and seasoning all over the turkey then triple wrapped the turkey with aluminum foil.

Added bailing wire for easy handling. Popped into the fire-pit and covered with coals.

Then we covered with damp burlap for extra protection then dirt on top to trap in all that heat and create an oven.

Roasted for 4 hours then use remove salt park, and use real oven to bronze.
