Recipe: Brown and Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

  • chicken leg/(any cut of chicken with skin)
  • butter
  • rosemary
  • thyme
  • pepper corns
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Finely chop rosemary.

Step 2

Pat the chicken leg dry. Score the skin. Generously season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Add some oil in a pan over high heat. When the oil is hot, turn the heat to low, put the chicken in the pan, skin side down. Cook for a few minutes. Add a stick butter, when the butter is melted, add the rosemary and thyme. Flip the chicken over. Cook until golden brown.

Step 4

Transfer the chicken to a baking pan, drizzle some oil on it. Cook in a oven for 3 minutes.
