Ingredients
- 1 quart water
- 4 teaspoons Better than Bullion chicken stock (you can substitut
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chile paste
- 3 oz. water chestnuts
- 1/4 pound Chinese BBQ pork
- 4-6 large shrimp
- Handful of dried shiitake mushroom
- 2 oz. firm tofu cut into strips
- 1 egg scrambled
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 green onion diced for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Boil water and reduce heat to medium.
Step 2
Stir in bullion.
Step 3
Add vinegar and soy sauce.
Step 4
Add shrimp and mushroom.
Step 5
Add pork and chestnuts.
Step 6
Add chili paste tofu pepper and sesame oil.
Step 7
Bring to a boil and pour in cornstarch mixture.
Step 8
Reduce heat and drizzle in egg while stirring.
Step 9
Garnish with green onion.
