Ingredients
- 4 avocados (they should be firm to the touch but not hard or mus
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/4 onion, minced
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1/2 jalapeno, minced
- Fresh cilantro
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Cut around the seed of the avocado, then twist to open it. Remove the seed. Make slices on the avocado one way, the make slices the other way. Use a spoon to scoop out the avocado off the skin. The skins can make cute serving bowls. Transfer the avocado in a bowl. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime. mash it up.
Step 2
De-seed and chop up a tomato. Mince 1/4 onion and 1/2 jalapeno. Put these chopped ingredients in the bowl with avocado. Stir to combine. Add some fresh cilantro. Stir well. Add some salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. Add two seeds to slow the browning process. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve.
