- 2 tbsp 2 1/2 lb beef tri-tip roast
- 2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
Put 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper, 1/2 tablespoon paprika, 2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, in a large bowl. mix well.
Season the beef tri-tip roast with the mixture above in a pan. coat well.
Then wrap the pan, refrigerate for 4 hours.
Meanwhile, we can make the sauce. add 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard, 1/3 cup red wine vinegar, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 4 cloves crushed garlic into a plastic box. cover the box, shake well.
After 4 hours, remove the wrap of the beef roast pan. leave out at room temperature for 30 minutes.
GO outside and turn on the grill. Place the beef roast onto the grill, brush the top side with the sauce we made.
Turn/baste every 4 minutes. Keep doing for 25-30 minutes.
Rest for at least 10 minutes. Slice the beef roast.
