As the name tells, it only takes a few minutes to make the seared minute steaks. With the simple barbecue butter sauce, this dish is delicious and quick to make.

Ingredients
- 2 (5-oz) minutes steaks
- 1 salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp grapeseed or vegetable oil
- 1 for the sauce:
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 1/2 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 or 2 teaspoons cold butter
- 1 hot sauce to taste
- 1 freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Trim off the fat from the steaks. Reserve the fat for later use. Cut the big steaks into 5-oz steaks. Put each piece of steaks in a plastic bag. Use a flat pounder to pound it.
Add 1/2 cup beef broth, 1 1/2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, 1 or 2 teaspoons cold butter, some hot sauce to taste, and some freshly ground black pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
Generously season the steaks with salt and pepper.
Add a piece of steak fat in a pan over high heat. When the fat begins to sizzle, the pan is hot enough. Add some oil in the pan. Use a tong to Clamp the fat and sweep around. Remove the fat, put the steaks in the pan. Sear 30 - 60 seconds per side.
Remove the steaks from the pan, pour the sauce in the same pan. Cook for 2 minutes.
Transfer the steaks on a serving plate, spoon over the sauce.
