Recipe: Sweet and Sour Peach Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
- 2 tablespoons peach preserves
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth or other liquid
- pinch of Chinese 5-Spice
- pinch of cayenne
- salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Add 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar,2 tablespoons peach preserves,
3 tablespoons chicken broth or other liquid (wine, fruit juice, etc.),
and a pinch of cayenne in a dutch oven. Whisk well. Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes. Add a pinch of Chinese 5-Spice, some salt and pepper during cooking.
