Recipe: Sweet Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (4 ounces) miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups (9 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

Instructions

Step 1

Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine,
2/3 cup evaporated milk,
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar,
and 1/4 teaspoon salt
into a heavy-duty sauce pan.

Step 2

Put the pan over medium heat. Give it to a simmer for 5 minutes, stir once a while.
Then turn off the heat.

Step 3

Put in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
2 cups (4 ounces) miniature marshmallows,
1 1/2 cups (9 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips,
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts(optional).
Keep stirring until mix well.

Step 4

Take a 8-9 inch square pan, lie in a plastic wrap.
Pour in our Chocolate mixture. Give a few taps to settle them down.
Let it cool down to room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
Cover and refrigerate for a few hour (overnight will be great) until chill completely.

Step 5

Now the Chocolate mixture is firm to cut. Take them out, remove the cover, flip the pan over.
Now cut the Chocolate by 4, then by 6. Clean your knife after each cut.
Cut it into 24 pieces in total.
