Ingredients
- 1 pint strawberries, rinsed, green tops removed
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
Step 1
Take 1 pint strawberries. Rinse, and remove the green tops.
Step 2
Put the strawberries in a pan. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar, and 2 tablespoon water. Turn the heat to medium high. Bring it to a simmer. Turn the heat to medium low. Cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, dissolve 1 teaspoon cornstarch into 2 tablespoons water.
Step 4
After simmering the strawberries for 15 minutes, add the cornstarch mixture in the pan. Give it a stir. turn off the heat. After 1-2 minutes, it gets thicken.
Step 5
Served with cheesecake.
