Recipe: Spring Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 bunch trimmed and washed asparagus
- 1 lemon - juiced
- 2 tbl olive oil
- 2 tbl balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- shaved Parmesan cheese to top
Instructions
Step 1
Take a pan, lie in heavy duty aluminum foil. Add the juice of 1 lemon,1 tbl olive oil,
2 tbl balsamic vinegar,
3 pinch of salt and pepper on the foil in the pan.
Give it a shake, set aside.
Step 2
Add 1 tbl olive oil in another pan over a heat.When the oil is hot, put 1 bunch trimmed and washed asparagus in the pan.
Pan sear until soft and tender, it takes 6-7 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the asparagus on the foil with the sauce. Wrap the foil.Use another foil to wrap it again. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Then unwrap the foils, put the asparagus on a serving plate.Top them with shaved Parmesan cheese, served with an extra lemon slice.
