Recipe: Smoked Trout Spread with Watermelon Radish
Ingredients
- 4 oz smoked trout
- 2 sprigs fresh tarragon
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup cream cheese
- black pepper and cayenne to taste
- watermelon radish (or regular radishes)
- black sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1
Get 4 oz smoked trout, peel the meat off the skin. Use your fingers to break it up roughly. Use the back of a fork to mash the meat up.
Step 2
Put the meat into a mixing bowl. Add 2 sprigs fresh tarragon, 1 cup cream cheese, the juice of 1/2 lemon, some black pepper and cayenne. Use the spatula to mix well.
Step 3
You can serve it immediately. But it would be better to chill them out.Put the meat mixture into a bowl or a cup, cover with a plastic.
Then refrigerate for a few hours.
Step 4
To serve, slice the watermelon radish, and place the slices on a serving plate. Sprinkle some black sesame seeds on the slices.Put a cup of the smoked trout beside the slices on the plate. Enjoy!
