Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 500 g rump/ fillet steak
- 110 g butter
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 300 g button mushrooms
- 280 ml beef stock
- 2 small glasses of red wine
- 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
- 280 ml sour cream
- salt and pepper
- pinch paprika
Instructions
Step 1
Cut 500g of steak into strips. Well dice 1 onion, crush and chop 2 garlic cloves.
Step 2
Add 100g of melted butter, the onions and garlic in the same pan, cook for about 2 minutes till soft.
Step 3
Add 300g of mushrooms, season again. cook till the mushrooms become soften, then return the beef to the pan, add 280 ml of beef stock, 2 small glasses of red wine and 1 tsp of Worcestershire Sauce.
Step 4
At last, stir in 280 ml of sour cream and a pinch of paprika. Leave to simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Serve with rice, crusty bread, or mashed potato. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if prefer.
