Recipe: Roasted Artichokes
Ingredients
- artichokes
- lemon
- garlic
- olive oil
- salt
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425F.
Step 2
Grab the handle of the artichoke, cut off the top, about an inch and half.Cut off the stem.
Put the artichoke into a bowl, squeeze the lemon juice on the cut part. Open the artichoke a little bit.
Poke a knife into the centre of the artichoke, drizzle a tbsp olive oil into the centre.
Insert a clove of garlic into the centre of the artichoke, also sprinkle some salt on it.
Step 3
Use a heavy duty aluminum foil to wrap the artichoke. Use another foil to wrap it once more.Wrap tightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
