Recipe: Pesto Pasta with Walnut and herbs
Ingredients
- 12 oz dry spaghetti
- 1/2 cup mixed fresh Italian herbs
- 6 cloves garlic
- salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- hot pepper flakes
- 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Step 1
Roughly chop 6 cloves garlic and the mixed fresh Italian herbs.Put them into a bowl, add some salt and pepper. Pound them well.
Step 2
Add 1/2 cup walnuts, pound well.Add 1/2 cup olive oil, Mix well.
Add some grated parmesan,
and hot pepper flakes. Mix well.
Step 3
Boil 12 oz dry spaghetti. Remove and drain.Transfer to a serving plate. Pour over the sauce. Use two forks to mix well.
Add the remaining grated parmesan, Mix well.
