Recipe: Party Cheese gougeres
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese - cheddar, gruyere, etc.
- 1 tsp freshly picked thyme leaves
- 1 tsp freshly coarsely ground black pepper
- dough cube
Instructions
Step 1
add some water and butter, some salt, dough cubeinto a pan, bring to a simmer
Step 2
Heat the pan over medium heat, then stir in flourcook for a few minutes until becoming a ball
Step 3
then cook for another minutes
Step 4
Remove, cool it. Then add in the grated sharp cheese, 1 tsp freshly coarsely ground black pepper,1 tsp freshly picked thyme leaves, one egg, stir well
Step 5
then add another egg, stir well, add 1/4 cheese
Step 6
then make it into a few small balls, cook in a over at 425F for 15-20 minutes
