Recipe: Indian-American Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless - skinless chicken thighs
- 1 1/2 tbl plain yogurt
- 1 1/2 tbl tandoori spice mix
- 1/2 lime - juiced
- extra salt and hot pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Add 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs,1 1/2 tbl plain yogurt,
1 1/2 tbl tandoori spice mix,
the juice of1/2 lime, some salt and hot pepper into a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
Step 2
Then put them into a zip-lock bag, let marinate in fridge for 2 hours.
Step 3
Spray the Canola Spray oil on the grill, so the chicken won't stick.Place the chicken thighs on the grill.
Cook for 2 minutes. Turn the grill to 180 degree. Put the lid on. Grill covered for about 6 minutes.
Step 4
Then remove the lid, flip the chicken thighs. Put some green onions on the top of the thighs. The white parts on the grill, green parts on the thighs.
Step 5
Put the lid back on, grill for another 6-8 minutes. Then remove and put the chicken thighs on a plate, cover them with a foil. Leave the green onions on the grill. Cook until soft and tender.
