Recipe: Fresh Fried Fish Cooked on Ice

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Fresh perch fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • lemon as needed
  • For the seasoned flour:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • a tsp of Old Bay

Instructions

Step 1

Add 8 oz Fresh perch fillets,
1 cup flour,
1 teaspoon fine salt,
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper,
a tsp of Old Bay,
and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper in a plastic bag. Mix well.

Step 2

Add 2 tablespoons butter in a baking pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted, and it starts to smoke, put the fillets in. Cook 2 minutes per side.

Step 3

Transfer to a serving plate, squeeze the juice of half lemon on it. Enjoy!
