French Peach Tartlet
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 large peaches
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp Chinese 5-spice
- 1 box (15-oz) ready-to-use piecrust (2 sheets)
- 1 egg - beaten plus 1 tsp water
Instructions
Step 1
Take 3 large peaches, halve and pit them. Cut each half into 4 pieces (24 slices total).
Step 2
Add 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 tsp Chinese 5-spice into a bowl. Mix well.
Step 3
Put 2 tbsp butter into a pan over medium heat. Once there are foams up, throw inthe fresh peach slices, even them out. Pour over the sugar and 5-spice mixture.
Cook for 2 minutes. Turn the peach slices once to make sure each side is cooked.
Step 4
Then turn off the heat, transfer the peach slices to a bowl.Let cool to room temperature. Set aside.
Step 5
Use an 4 inch mold to make pie crust circles(tartlets).Use your finger and go around, fold up the edge of the pie crust circles.
brush the top side of the pie crust circles with egg mixture.
Step 6
Into each tartlets centre, Place in 3 peach slices: 2 on the sides facing to each other, on in the middle.drizzle a little bit of the peach juice.
Step 7
Then bake 15 min at 375F.After done, cool before serving.
