Recipe: Fish Sauce with Tarragon and Brown Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
  • 2 tbsps chopped walnuts
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Put 3 tbsp unsalted butter into a dried pan over medium heat. Let foam up.
Stir or shake the pan once a while.
Cook for 6-10 minutes or until the butter is melted.

Step 2

Then add 2 tbsp chopped walnuts, cook for 1 minute.
Then turn off the heat. Add 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice,
1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon,
salt and fresh ground black pepper. Stir well.

Step 3

This sauce goes well with fish, and it is also good for steak, pork....
