Recipe: Easy No Knead Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 oz whole wheat flour
  • 16 oz all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp dry active yeast
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • cornmeal as needed

Instructions

Step 1

Add 2 oz whole wheat flour,
16 oz all-purpose flour (about 4 cups total),
1/4 tsp dry active yeast,
1 1/4 tsp salt,
1/4 tsp sugar,
2 tbsps olive oil,
and 1 1/2 cups warm water in a big bowl. Stir well, it takes about 4 minutes.

Step 2

Cover the bowl with a plastic, let rise for about 18 hours.

Step 3

Flour your work place very well. Scrape the dough down on the work place. Add flour on the top of the dough. Flour your hand.

Step 4

flat the dough, cut it into four even pieces. Form it into a ball. Put a little flour on it. Use rotate-stretch-tuck method make the dough piece. Go around for 5-6 minutes. Put them in plastic bags, refrigerate over night.

Step 5

Take the dough out, add some flour on it. Use a wood roller to roll it.

Step 6

Put some cornmeal on a sheet pan. Put the dough on the sheet pan. Spread some ketchup on it, just enough to cover. Add some hot pepper flakes, cheese and any your favourite toppings.

Step 7

Bake it at 550F for 4 minutes on the bottom of an oven. The transfer on the center rack for 6 minutes. Remove, cool on a rack.
