Recipe: Corned Beef Hash

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 pounds cooked corned beef - diced
  • 1 1/2 pounds white potatoes - peeled quartered
  • 1/4 cup prepared roasted tomato salsa
  • 2 clove garlic - crushed
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

peel 1 1/2 pounds white potatoes, and quarter them.
put them in a pot with salted water, boil for 15 minutes.
Then drain well. Hash (hash means chop) them well.
Take 1 bunch green onions, chop white parts, reserve green parts for garnish.

Step 2

Hash 1 1/2 pounds cooked corned beef. Then put them into a cast iron or non-stick pan.
Turn on medium heat. cook slowly, then add the white parts of green onions.
Continue to add some salt, fresh ground black pepper, some crushed garlic, and 1 tbsp butter. cook them over a medium heat.

Step 3

When the butter melts, add in the potato hash, 1/4 cup prepared roasted tomato salsa, soft pepper. Mix well.

Step 4

Pat down with a spatula. flip the mixture over every 4-5 minutes. Cook, turn, cross to get amazing textures.

Step 5

When done, cut a little piece off and place on a plate.
Serve with a cooked egg, top with the green parts of the green onions.
