Recipe: Chinse Wonton Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 3 minced green onions
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 1/2 tbl fresh grated ginger or puree
- 1 tbl soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tbl dry sherry wine
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- square wonton wrappers
- For the broth
- 1 1/2 quarts chicken stock or broth
- 4 oz sliced fresh shiitake mushrooms
- sliced bok choy
- green onion tops to garnish
Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, put in 1 pound ground pork, 3 minced green onions, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 1 1/2 tbl fresh grated ginger or puree,1 1/2 tbl fresh grated ginger or puree, 1 tbl soy sauce, 1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tbl dry sherry wine, 1 tsp hot sauce,
1/4 tsp sesame oil, mix up.
Step 2
refrigerate them 30-60 minutes
Step 3
After 30-60 minutes, take out the mixture in step one,Now place a square wonton wrapper on a plate surface, wet the sides, add half spoon of mixture into the centre of the wrapper.
Step 4
fold it into triangle shape.repeat the process until use all the mixture.
Step 5
slice 4 oz sliced fresh shiitake mushrooms, put in in a cooking pan,cook for half a minute
Step 6
add in 1 1/2 quarts chicken stock or broth, while we are cooking, slice bok choy
Step 7
add in the sliced bok choy, continue to cook for a few minutes,then add in the Wontons, cook until soften
