Recipe: Cherry Cabernet Sauce
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup tart cherry preserves
- 3/4 cup cabernet wine
- pinch of salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 springs thyme
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Add 3/4 cup tart cherry preserves,3/4 cup cabernet wine,
pinch of salt,
1 clove peeled garlic,
4 springs thyme,
1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper into a sauce pan over a medium heat.
Bring it to a simmer, whisk constantly.
Step 2
Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Reduce by 1/2.If it is too thick, add some water,
too thin, reduce some water.
