Recipe: Burrata on Grilled Bread with Grilled Figs

Ingredients

  • burrata cheese
  • fresh figs
  • Italian bread
  • balsamic vinaigrette
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

To make the balsamic vinaigrette, add 1 part vinegar to 1 part extra virgin olive oil in a bottle, shake vigorously.

Step 2

Rinse the fresh figs. Cut each one into half. Put them on a hot grill, skin side down. Cool until the juice starts to bubble. Remove and set aside.

Step 3

Put the bread slices on the grill, grill both sides until touch and crispy. Remove and set aside.

Step 4

Put a bread slice on a serving plate, top it with a big thick slice of burrata cheese. Place some grilled figs around it. Drizzle some balsamic vinaigrette over them. Season them with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
