Recipe: Blackberry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh blackberries, washed, drained well
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 stick softened butter (4 tbsp)

Instructions

Step 1

Add 4 cups fresh blackberries,
1/3 cup granulated white sugar,
and 2 tsp lemon juice into a big mixing bowl. Mix well.
Then dump them into a baking plate. Pat them down.

Step 2

Add 1/3 cup flour,
1/3 cup packed brown sugar,
1/2 tsp cinnamon,
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats,
pinch of salt,
and 1/2 stick softened butter in a big mixing bowl. Mix well.
Pour the mixture over the blackberries.
Use a fork to spread out.

Step 3

Bake them at 375F 45 minutes.

Step 4

Cool before serve.
