Recipe: Beef Pot Roast
Ingredients
- Beef Chuck Pot Roast (about 3 1/2 pounds)
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 stick butter
Instructions
Step 1
Add the beef chuck and some olive oil in a dutch oven over high heat.Generously drizzle salt and black pepper. Sear both sides well.
Step 2
Then remove the beef chuck,and add a little bit olive oil,
1 cup diced carrots,
1 cup diced celery,
1 cup diced onion,
and 1/2 stick butter in the dutch oven. Give it a stir.
Cook for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add 1 tsp dried rosemary, return the beef chuck in the dutch oven.Cover the the dutch oven. put it in an oven, cook at 275F for about 2 1/2 hours or until fork-tender.
