Recipe: Beef Hamburger
Ingredients
- 1 kg ground beef
- 1 Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Use a large bowl to season 2 lbs (1 kg) ground beef with 2 tsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp mustard and salt and pepper.Wet your hands to prevent ground beef from sticking to your finger. Fold the seasoning into the beef until it is mixed well.
Step 2
Get a handful of beef and flatten it into a patty between your two hands. You can make the size and thickness you like.patties shrink up to 20% when you cook them. Using your thumb, create an indentation in the middle of each patty.
This helps the patties keep their shape on the grill. Use wax paper to keep the patties separate.
Step 3
Barbecue or Cook the patties over a grill on high heat. Close the cover, grill for 5 - 10 minutes.watch constantly. Hamburger meat contains a lot of fat which can cause flare-ups and burned burgers.
Flip the patties only once and let them to cook another 5 minutes, or until they have reached a desired doneness.
Remove the patties and turn the heat to low. Toast the hamburger buns for 30 seconds.
