Recipe: American Flag Cake
Ingredients
- 12 X 18 sheet cake
- 1 1/2 pt pt blueberiies
- 1 1/2 pt strawberries or raspberries
- 6 cups frosting
- Equipments

- wax or parchment paper

- Spatula
- Toothpick
- Large pastry bag
- star tip
Instructions
Step 1
Bake a sheet cake using your favorite recipe.halve the strawberries.
Step 2

Step 3
Using a spatula to frost the cake with vanilla or cream cheese frosting, real whipped cream, or whipped topping. Save enough frosting to fill a large pastry bag fitted with a star tip.
Step 4
Use a toothpick to outline the pattern of the American flag on the cake.
Step 5
Use a layer of blueberries to fill in the upper left-hand corner “star” section.
Step 6
Now Place a row of raspberries or sliced strawberries across the upper edge of the cake to form the first red stripe.
Step 7
Then Pipe a row of stars below the red berries to form the first white stripe.
